Worry about today

Worry about today and not tomorrow. Have you heard that before? It's perfectly true. If you've ever been told, say in a soccer game, that you can't just stand there and expect the ball to come to you. That relates perfectly to this 'saying'. You can't worry about tomorrow, expecting your worrying to change it. It doesn't mean you just play each day as it comes, (well, actually, it does... but that's not the point...)just not to worry about the next day. You can change tomorrow by working to change it, you can remember the past by remembering what you did, if that makes any sense. Everyone has different ways of remembering the past. Whether it's looking back and regretting it, or thinking, " I did pretty well." Which type of rememberer of the past you are, it's up to you. By worrying about today, not tommorow, you're doing both yourself and everyone else a favor. Worry about tommorow when it comes. (Though technically you'd start worrying about today again....)
