When you trust someone, you tell him or her how you feel, what you need, etc. Trust is a matter of telling the truth to certain people. It is possible to immediately trust someone, but very rarely does that happen. If you love someone, you will tell them the truth no matter what. You trust them not to judge you. You tell them what you think of them, and how you react to certain things. You have to trust someone to truly have a strong relationship with him or her.
On the other hand… Friendships… Some come and go, others last a lifetime. Depending on the degree of trust you give that person, your friendship will either stand strong or fall apart fairly quickly. A truly strong friendship is one where both people completely trust each other, and they love/like the other person exactly the way they are. Some friendships start out strong, but fall apart easily. Others start strong, stay strong, both people completely trust each other, and almost no secrets are hidden from each other. Friendships are an important factor in life, and when a friendship breaks up, you learn from it. Your heart may be broken, but you will learn from it. Best friendships and trusting friendships are two completely different things. Trusting friendships often evolve into best friendships, but not always. A trusting friendship is a friendship that has strong roots and is based on trust. Often, these friendships last a lifetime. Best friendships… also take a certain degree of trust to develop. However, these don’t normally last forever. Best friendship decisions must not be made hastily, but it takes time, often or sometimes a year. Best friends, and trust friends, should know each other really well, and completely trust the other person not to laugh at your true self. Keep your friendships strong, so that your own heart will never be broken, but that is hardly ever possible unless your heart is made of stone. Just keep in mind... that not all friendships last forever….
